Fruitful discussions this morning between the Thai delegation and the nuclear solutions proposed by Otrera, during the breakfast meeting held on 26 May with H.E. Mr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand.

Beyond the technological discussions, the meeting highlighted a broader strategic dynamic: Thailand is demonstrating a clear ambition to position itself as a regional hub between Vietnam, India, and Singapore, particularly in the fields of energy, industrial innovation, and critical infrastructure.

The exchanges also provided an opportunity to discuss the evolution of Thailand’s nuclear ecosystem, against the backdrop of regional energy diversification and growing low-carbon transition ambitions.
